3 – Instead of staying cooped up inside the house caught up with all that cleaning, work, and taking care of the baby, try to get out as much as you can. To prevent from becoming depressed try to find ways to hang out with other mom in your situation. Even if you are stuck at home you could use resources such as the internet to find women your age going through postpartum depression just as you are. There are many mother friendly websites and forums that will contain many helpful tips for people in your situation.
